Villa Luštica, Montenegro

Villa is located in small Mediterranean village on the hill above narrow pass to Boka Bay, with unique view of entire bay and high rocky mountains above.
Very close to other houses in picturesque Mediterranean village, with its distinctive architecture, stone walls, cyprus trees and olive tree fields, were staring point and inspiration in architectural design.
So, architectural design blended characteristic elements and type of building of traditional Mediterranean rural architecture, blended with simple cubical form “attachment” with wide glass surface, providing uninterrupted communication between interior and exterior.
Existing old olives and cyprus trees, and new planted Mediterranean plants, on upper level garden, or rock gardens around the pool and in lower entrance, are significant and integral part of architecture.
